Employee transportation management solution provider, MoveInSync raised USD 15 million in Series C fundraise from Bessemer Venture Partners.
The company will deploy the funds toward the growth of MoveInSync One, a commute innovation that encompasses fleet, operations and technology. This fundraise was facilitated by advisory firm, The Rainmaker Group.
This fundraise will help MoveInSync empower existing fleet owners to develop efficiencies in optimising their operations. Part of the fundraise will also go towards expanding MoveInSync’s international presence in markets such as Philippines, South Africa and the Middle East.
The Co-founder and CEO, Deepesh Agarwal said, “While we have been consistently growing among the IT, ITES and Banking and finance sectors, Government’s initiatives to manufacture in India has created a significant opportunity for us. At the same time, with more women joining the workforce, the need for safe and secure commute cannot be compromised.”
Founded in 2009 by IIT BHU Graduates Deepesh Agarwal and Akash Maheshwari, MoveInSync transformed commute for employees at a time when transportation was unorganised and unsafe.
The company also announced that a part of the fundraise has been earmarked for employees to liquidate their ESPOS.
