Superfone, an all-in-one business phone and CRM app designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has successfully raised USD 1.9 million in its pre-series A funding round. The round was led by YourNest Venture Capital, which invested USD 950,000, with additional participation from Ankur Capital, Finsight Seed Fund, and a group of angel investors.
This funding round is part of the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024, an accelerator initiative aimed at supporting high-growth startups. With this fresh capital, Superfone plans to enhance its offerings by acquiring national-level telecom licenses, bolstering its engineering and product teams with senior hires, and scaling its customer acquisition efforts.
Founded in 2021 by Pradeep Dodle and Nikhil Goenka, Superfone provides SMBs with an innovative app-based solution that replaces traditional SIM cards. The platform integrates advanced tools like CRM, lead management, WhatsApp marketing, and AI-powered agents, addressing key communication and operational challenges faced by small businesses. Currently, Superfone serves over 10 million small businesses in India, helping them streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and drive growth.
Superfone has already secured significant telecom approvals, including a Unified Licence (VNO) for the Karnataka telecom circle and a Pan-India Unified Licence from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which allows the company to offer various telecom services across the country.
The company, based in Bengaluru, is also eyeing international expansion, with plans to target high-growth markets in Southeast Asia (SEA) and Latin America. By leveraging a software-first approach, Superfone aims to empower SMBs with an integrated communication and marketing platform, providing them with the tools needed to scale efficiently.
