Gurugram-based stock advisory platform Univest has raised USD 10 million in its Series A funding round, led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
The company, founded in 2022 by Pranit Arora, Avneet Dhamija, and Vikash Agarwal, plans to use the funding to enhance its platform, which offers retail investors stock recommendations, trade execution, and market insights. According to media reports, Univest operates through its SEBI-registered RA entity, Uniresearch, providing advice on stocks, derivatives, and commodities alongside portfolio tracking tools.
In just two years, the platform has attracted over 3 million signups and 1.5 lakh paid subscribers. Univest claims an 85 percent success rate on profitable calls, with 60 percent of its recommendations meeting target prices, according to media reports.
Previously, Univest raised USD 1.5 million in seed funding from investors including Trinity Media Group, Akash Anand (Bella Vita Organic), and Deep Bajaj (Sirona).
The new investment underscores growing investor confidence in tech-driven stock advisory platforms catering to India’s expanding base of retail investors.
