Tea Culture of the World (TCW) is a 6 year old contemporary tea brand that brings together finest whole leaf teas and exotic blends from India and around the world. Brewed with a consummate dose of passion, Tea Culture of the World endeavours to provide antidotes to the hectic urban lifestyle with the help of a refreshing cup of tea.

Tea Culture of the World (TCW) was founded by Dr. Rupali Ambegaonkar. She said of starting a tea brand,

“The idea for TCW came to me when I started drinking this particular Chinese tea. I was back from my summer vacation in China and started drinking this tea my Chinese friend gave me. I was totally hooked on the tea; then in September 2010 I started TCW. I was very excited to enter this wonderful world of tea and the discovery of teas around the world has been incredible. Soon we will be raising money from private equity investors or family offices to promote a culture of tea appreciation with our brews made with care and passion."

Dr Rupali so far has some delicious sounding teas like Rose Romance, Strawberry Farm, Apple Cinnamon Duet, Lemon Verbana, Fruit Bliss, Calming Chamomile, Kashmiri Kahwa and Mango Mania.

A tea to calm down

The best stress buster there is, is a tea which combines chamomile, lavender and sage. Chamomile helps you relax and get to sleep faster; lavender is good for general relaxation and cures headache and tiredness while sage relieves tension in the muscles and general nervousness.

A tea for hot days

A Cucumber cooler tea is a cooling blend of cucumber and white tea. It’s the perfect respite on hot summer days. The white tea sourced from India enhances the freshness of cucumbers. To make this you need white Tea, cucumber, lemon slice, peppermint, natural lime flavour along with a flowery bouquet of rose and liquorice.

A tea for cold days

Masala chai or spicy mandarin oolong whose spiciness will boost your metabolism will also keep you warm. Masala chai is a strong savory blend of spices and tea leaves. The aroma of the spices refreshes you, while the flavor of the black tea, sourced from the celebrated estates of India, soothes your senses. To make a masala chai you will need some Assam tea, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger and bay leaves.

Spicy mandarin oolong on the other hand is a citrusy oolong tea with aromatic spices. It combines aromatic spices, deliciously zesty mandarins, and delicate oolong leaves to create a blend that is immensely refreshing. To make this you will need oolong tea, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, clove, ginger, natural orange, cinnamon and clove flavouring.

White teas like pai mutan and silver needle are good for fighting cancer. One can't assume it cures cancer off the bat, but studies have shown that it slows down cancer cell growth. Oolong teas are known to fight cholesterol and fats as well.
