Busykart - A Startup That Aims to Become a One Stop Solution for Products and Services

Agra-based Busykart.com aims to become a one step solution for all (products and services both). The startup is focusing to combine four fastest growing sector i.e Education, Retail Distribution (through their retail arm BKT Retail India Pvt. Ltd.), Online Marketplace, Healthcare for all. Customer would find solution for his/her all problems on a single platform. Also customer would have an opportunity to become their distributor for free and to earn commission on every sale through him/her to meet their financial needs.

The company also aim to provide online education and health care facilities to all for forever in very cheap rates which are main concern in the developing Countries like India. It was founded in 2014 by Hrithik Sharma and Sumit Singh.

How did the entrepreneurial bug bite you?

It was clear in my mind from the first day, that I have to do something different, from my third year of college , i had started working in MLM company to earn from myself, and earned & learned well. It was clear, that i have to pursue my dreams in business world, though i got selected for the job in Power plant from campus, i did it for two years, and In 2014 we have launched our startup Busykart.com as a marketplace model, failed, again tried, again failed and diversified to grocery segment and finally got some speed from Oct. 2015

What were the challenges before you while setting up this startup?

Well, we had very little knowledge of IT and had very less contacts, we know we have to dig out the market and have to start from Zero. Finance was also a major challenge before us. But we are passionate to learn more and more.

What are the challenges for startup companies setting up shop in India?

Well India is very dominant place for startups, though few things have to change to support them more, Huge Taxes, Laws, High marketing cost are few challenging factors to look at. Also, it is very challenging to have a good talent in your company to give better services to your customers while following system of the company.

How is your business model different from the existing ones?

We are working in Just in Time Delivery model, we do not collect inventory not its a marketplace, but we outsourced the products as per order from agencies. Also we take orders over call and offer our customer to have samples of the products before order.

Who are your clients? How do you look at expanding?

Every household is our client, currently we are in AGRA and near by region. We are focused on tier II cities, where market is still fresh and i need. We will expand our services in 10 more cities in a year.

The best and worst memories while setting up

Every memory was either an incident or an accident, both taught us useful lessons so every memory was a good memory for us.
