With the constantly changing environment in entrepreneurship and rapid growth of new technologies, the esteemed panel at BW Businessworld’s Inaugural Edition of BW Unicorn Summit & Awards 2022, which included Dr PS Harsha, IPS, IG – Police & Commissioner – Department of Information & PR, Government Of Karnataka and PVG Menon, Co-founder, TS Accelerator & Advisor – ESDM, spoke on the need for the central government and state governments to adapt and discussed on various emerging thrust areas.
They also delved deeper into initiatives like ‘Digital India’, ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, and ‘Make In India’, which helped the manufacturing industry take off in India. PVG Menon further emphasised that the nation now needs to move from ‘Make In India’ towards ‘Made In India’. He was of opinion that if India doubles down on Made In India, the country could manufacture for many markets internationally by capturing value domestically.
