InsuranceDekho Likely To Acquire Majority Stake In BankSathi: Report

InsuranceDekho, an online insurance broker and aggregator platform, is nearing an agreement to acquire a majority stake in BankSathi, as per media reports. BankSathi, a distributor of credit cards and personal loans, is supported by Kotak Securities and LetsVenture.

According to media reports, the agreement, which is in its final stages, will provide liquidity to BankSathi's angel investors. The deal is expected to be executed through a share swap, allowing BankSathi's shareholders to gain ownership in InsuranceDekho. A share swap involves exchanging one equity-based asset for another, commonly used in mergers and acquisitions, media reports revealed.
