Ness Digital Engineering and S&P Global Launches Innovation Center in Hyderabad, Opens Up New Career Opportunities

Ness Digital Engineering, a provider of digital transformation and custom software engineering services, has opened the Orion Facility in Hyderabad in partnership with S&P Global to support its growing Center of Excellence for technology, data operations and core business process talent in the region. 

Designed to accommodate more than 850 associates, the 100,000 sq. ft. Orion Facility is purpose-built to facilitate innovation by providing employees with access to the latest technologies and global communications infrastructure, as well as physical spaces that enable highly-collaborative teams. The associates at the facility are focused on software development, operations, quality assurance and data to enable S&P Global systems and products. 

This facility has state-of-the-art technology labs to exclusively focus on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning and DevOps innovation and solutions.

S&P Global is a leading provider of transparent and independent ratings, benchmarks, analytics and data to the capital and commodity markets worldwide. It has over 350 employees in the operation at present and are expected to reach 600 employees by the end of the year.

Ness established its presence in India in 2003. Today, Ness India is home to multiple technology innovation hubs with approximately 2,000 employees across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai. It plans to add 800 plus employees in India by end of 2018.

Earlier this year, T-Hub, in association with Rural Electrification Corporation, had launched ‘REC Innovation Platform’ in Hyderabad to encourage innovation in the renewable energy sector. About 1,800 students from select institutions will go through the rigorous Conceptual Research Experience Programme in the renewable energy sector, ranging from solar and wind energy to geothermal energy and alternate bio-fuels and climate-change issues.
