Brett Stevens at BWDisrupt event says the western view of India which is India with very large cities with poverty, but western people do not understand how vibrant the business environment is in India. Almost a decade ago, most large companies found a way to reduce costs and started outsourcing some of the business projects in India.
Stevens further added that the startup ecosystem in India is very vibrant where young people have different career aspirations now than what they had few years ago.
He appreciated the policies made by PM Modi for the ease of business and how they will encourage more people to invest in Indian startups which will help them in smooth running.
Stevens said that the biggest challenge for them is talent hunting and focusing on quality not the number of startups.
