Applop Selected by Facebook for Its FbStart Programme

The programme, aimed at developers, is designed to help early-stage mobile-focused startups build and grow their apps. Under the programme, the startup will receive $40,000 worth of credits and services from Facebook and its partners like AWS, Dropbox, Adobe and MailChimp. Applop will also receive mentoring from the Menlo Park-headquartered Facebook’s engineering teams.

Applop Gyan provides byte size information on various subjects for students all over the country via a mobile app. It always a necessity in country like india where everyone is struggling to get proper information/ right knowledge.

“In social media there is pool of information available that is not filtered and is not authentic; with Gyan anyone can share information in social media easily with just a click and these guys moderate the information available in Gyan, even facebook is struggling big time on filtering FakeNews” said Rahul Singhal, Founder Applop.

Jyoti Singhal said that “Gyan Guru is taking e-learning to a next level. With byte size information it is easy to remember the information.” Jyoti is heading the product and content part of the app is handled by Gagan Agrawal.

The startup claims to have thousands of students connected on its platform with wide usage all over India. Currently, the startup is not focusing on generating revenues, but on adding users to its platform. Jyoti said that her team is in the process of exploring various fronts for revenue generation.

Gagan Agrawal is having 3 years of experience in EduTech field as he is associated with Bansal Classes Kota as faculty, he left his job at Cognizant to drive his passion towards teaching by joining the Bansal classes.

Applop is a Gurgaon based startup that help anybody to create his own mobile app within minutes and come-up with MVP in least possible time.
