Cabby - A New Challenger to Ola and Uber in Cab Aggregation Space

Cabby, which is a premium cab aggregator focussing on providing a high-end quality commute experience, was launched by the ace Cricketer and Humanitarian, Yuvraj Singh, at the Siri Fort Stadium. Sahil Arora, who has conceptualized Cabby is an 18 year old talented Whiz kid who is also the Founder/CEO at Vuzella, which focuses on the SaaS space. He is a true innovator who has a long term vision of not only creating something new every six months, but also plans to launch an incubation hub where he plans to incubate every young mind and help them build their own products. Also present at the launch was Yuvraj Singh’s mother, Mrs. Shabnam Singh.

In Sahil Arora’s words, “Through Cabby, we are basically turning ever cab on our platform into a luxurious vehicle for the riders to travel in. Cabby currently has 27,000 drivers on board, pre-launch and we are targeting to envisage the services in multiple hyper local cities within the coming quarter. I want to make an innovation hub in India, where I incubate every young mind and help them build their own products.”

The guest of honour is Yuvraj Singh, who along with his mother, took Sahil under their wings and supported him through these years said, ‘It is very important to support a talent specially when you clearly identify it and you see potential. I saw that spark in Sahil for sure and instantly decided to support him in his endeavours. I strongly believe this should be for one and all. No talent should go waste for reason as small as funding or support. Sahil is a very promising child and is enterprising in his thoughts and vision. I wish to support as much talent as I can in my lifetime.’

The following are highlights of the services provided by Cabby that include – luxury and supercars on its platform, in-cab entertainment, free beverages and eateries provided to the passengers and a different set of pricing in contrast to other existing cab aggregators. The most unique feature of Cabby is that it has a specialised fleet of cars that are driven by women and serve only women. This would naturally be appreciated by female commuters who use public transportation.
