Undoubtedly, the Uttar Pradesh win for NDA has been a big one and they wouldn’t do a mistake by presenting a dominant Hindu leader, had they not wanted to.
But as a common man, why do we assume contradiction or a conflict between the idea of development and Hindutva. Modi has often said that, it’s time to change our ‘1200 years of slavery’ and ‘slave mentality’. His government’s mission is to end the mentality and revive the long-lost glory of Hindu civilization.
Uttar Pradesh might become a good example of a state where Hindutva and capitalism go hand in hand. Successful late developers such as Germany, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Singapore have seen massive development in dictatorial and autocratic regimes.
As of now, one thing is clear that UP election results shows that Modi’s appeal lies beyond cast. And Yogi also has never missed a chance to make his mark with his comments. The latest remark Yogi has made is like, “The priority of my government is to start towards providing succor to people without any prejudice or favor.”
And he plans to up-skill the youth-related for issues such as skill, development, job opportunities, government jobs etc. The current government will strive to make Uttar Pradesh an agro-based economy. As per the promises made by the party, pre-poll- A farm loan waiver of 50K crore (state government is authorized to give waiver of state cooperative banks whose total outstanding is roughly 20% of the total loan advances which pegs it at about 10K Crore.
Let's take a few points that all UP wallah's should be aware about:-
1) Under Akhilesh Yadav the economic output of the state has grown at a fast clip. Its gross domestic product has risen almost 3 percent points between 2012-13and 2015- 16 from 4.3 per cent to 7.1 per cent. Rapid growth has helped its debt to GDP ratio decline.
1)Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that the center had send 2.5 lakh crore to U.P. since he took over the reins of the country, in turn the then Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav sent an official dispatch to finance minister Arun Jaitely saying that the center still owe UP funds allocated to it under several social sector schemes.
3)The new CM Yogi has a degree in B.SC. (Mathematics) from H.N.B. Garhwal University with an occupation of political priest .He is also the Mahant or head priest of the Gorakhnath math ,a Hindu temple in Gorakhpur. He is also the founder of Hindu Yuva Vahini, a militant youth organization which has been involved in political violence.
But everyone deserves a second chance?
