Social ecommerce startup DealShare, creates over 1000 small-scale businesses in tier 2 and 3 Indian cities within the last 2 years. This was achieved through its community leader network, DealShare Dost, as per the company.
The company in a public statement said, “It helps optimise supply chain while improving efficiency and fostering entrepreneurship. The model highlights incentives to each partner in the network on a daily basis.”
Sourjyendu Medda, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer DealShare said in a public statement, “We are aiming to establish a DealShare Dost for every 1000 households in the cities and towns we cover."
The company has stated that it avoids brand marketing expenses and is moving towards achieving profitability faster.
The network is recording a 10 per cent month-on-month growth and is contributing about 40 per cent of the overall revenue. It has partnered with over 1,000 local and regional brands and also sources its products directly from the manufacturers.
