Vehicle Maintenance Startup Demyto Raises Undisclosed Amount from Deepak Nathani
Cybage cofounder Deepak Nathani has invested an undisclosed amount of funding in vehicle maintenance startup Demyto for a 20% stake in the company, as reported by ET. Demyto has created a technology-enabled interface that could be used to offer services like usage-based insurance where on-board diagnostics would be needed. At present, it works with 110 service stations in Pune and offer both B2B and B2C services. The startup was foudned in 2015, it offers car servicing, as well as allied products like tyres and spares along with insurance services through its Web-based platform.
Cloud Venture Zeta to Raise $25M from Directi‘s CEO Bhavin Turakhia
Serial entrepreneur and recently-turned billionaire Bhavin Turakhia is planning to pump in $25 million funding in Mumbai-based Zeta, an enterprise cloud solutions company, reported TOI. "Around $19 million has been committed into Zeta and we are planning to push this product for marketing and significantly increase our headcount. We will put in around $25 million for Zeta in the current and next financial year to scale up the business," said Turakhia.
Started in 2015 by Turakhia and Ramki Gaddipati, the platform provides tax savings to employees on fuel, communication, meal, medical, gift and gadget reimbursements
Airline Ticket Aggregator Mystifly Bags $5M from Japanese Fund
Airline ticket aggregator Mystifly has raised $5 million from one of the funds owned by Japanese private equity firm Recruit Holdings at a valuation of the Rs 250 crore ($37.6 million), reported ET. My FareBox, the B2B global airfare market place owned by Mystifly, will use the money to invest in technology, sales and marketing to expand its global presence. The Japanese fund will acquire a minority stake in the company.
Eli Global Buys Software Development Firm Lekhisoft Software Solutions for Around $500k
Delhi-based Eli Health Solutions Pvt Ltd, a part of Eli Group, has acquired software development firm Lekhisoft Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, for an amount of around $500,000, reported DealStreetAsia. As part of the acquisition, Umesh Lekhi, Mansha Lekhi and Nancy Lekhi from Lekhisoft will join team of Eli.
Faridabad-based Lekhisoft Software Solutions provides a complete ophthalmic hospital management software with EMR (electronic medical record) along with paperless hassle-free approach. US-headquartered Eli Global was founded in 1991, the group employs around 4,000 people in more than 20 locations, and has a group of 40 independent business units.
eCommerce Startup MeraKisan Raises Undisclosed Funding From Mahindra Univeg
Mahindra Univeg has made investment in Pune-based Mera Kisan, an eCommerce startup which sources fresh vegetables and fruits directly from farmers and sell it to the customers. "Our investment (minority shareholding) in MeraKisan will enable the farmers and the consumers to connect digitally and create a win-win situation for both farmers and customers," said Ashok Sharma, MD & CEO, Mahindra Agri Solutions Ltd.
