ChatOnGo, a hyper local platform for vendors to connect to their customers, has recently received a seed funding of $300k from a private HNI investor Janak Jain. The startup aims to utilize the funding amount for team building, product development as well as for sales and marketing.
Started by Sagar Nagda & Priyank Ranka, Mumbai-based ChatOnGo helps in communication between the employees of the same company or with dealers / distributors/ sales force of the companies which are spread across geographies in a real time, quick & convenient way. It is available on iOS & android platform & desktop version is under development. It is based on SaaS model.
ChatOnGo is owned and operated by Nimap Solutions Pvt Ltd., a company into IT services since 7 years and has made more than 150 apps.
Going forward, Nimap Solutions wants to take its product (ChatOnGo) worldwide. They also want to enhance the product & want to integrate all touch points with dealers, distributors & salesperson of any enterprise into this software.
Taking about the investment, Janak Jain said, "Though I am engineer understand tech, this is my first tech start up investment. After the WhatsApp acquisition, I always wanted to invest into IT. When Priyank came to me first time with this concept of Chatongo, I liked the product as well as the team & decided to go for it."
Sagar Nagda added, "Initially we launched it as hyperlocal platform but had little success, we completely evolved our product & business model in last one quarter and now we are 100% B2B start-up. We are seeing good traction as we are solving real problems of businesses. I and Priyank always wanted to work on an IT product and with Chatongo we are fulfilling our old wish."
