Foxconn Is Likely To Introduce Its Battery Swapping Infra In India
Foxconn is in talks with the Centre on introducing its electric battery swapping infrastructure in India.
The company has expressed their interest in executing the market entry either with Taiwanese battery refuelling platform Gogoro, or individually.
Niti Aayog had tabled draft battery swapping policy in April 2022, envisaging interoperability across EV brands, standard battery pack specifications, business models for service providers, and incentives for companies setting up the infrastructure.
