The Parisian Boudoir is an online-multi-brand boutique started by Vandana Anurag in 2016. It provides an ultimate experience of a Parisian wardrobe that adds a touch of Paris to your daily lives in the form of silhouettes, fabric, and French-savoir-faire. In an interaction with BW Disrupt, Vandana shared details about her venture.

Founding date: It started in 2016 with a vision to establish a premium online fashion store committed to offer exclusive couture infused with Parisian essence for the Indian market.

USP:
The brand creates an easy and fast access to the French fashion brands without having to pay the premium. It provides access to curated collection of various popular Parisian brands available in India. Our office at Paris enjoys a great relationship with various French brands and market intelligence. While retailing of products to the consumer has started, many of other services include:

- Expose the consumer to the latest trends
- Availability of latest collections at the same time as they are being retailed in Europe
- No tariffs and duties being levied to the consumer which they would have to usually pay for buying imported merchandise.

Funding status: Along with sweat equity, the founder along with its directors have brought in the seed capital and are on the lookout for a VC for the next stage of funding.

Traction details: Our mapping tells us that the traction will beat our projections and budget. We are bringing in brands who are already doing well in the international markets. There is no premium being charged at the moment for selling, importing and maintaining stock in India. Having said that building a brand is not an overnight journey.

Future Plans: We believe in being much more than just a fashion brand for India. For us it is about bringing the whole Parisian lifestyle experience to India. We plan to expand into many new categories like footwear, lifestyle products, cosmetics, etc, products which imbibe the Parisian flavour. We are bringing on board more French Brands for the AW17 collection in addition to our existing portfolio of 5 popular brands for our 1st SS17 collection. Many more brands are showing interest in us to get them to the Indian market.

Marketing Plans:
We will be using multiple platforms including digital media, events and popups to reach out to the customers. We believe that once experienced, the quality of our product and service is going to be our biggest marketing tool. Our vision is to be an enterprise selling the Parisian experience, product being an important part of the same.
