Internet Moguls is a complete hybrid tech + and service agency for hotels, restaurants, travel companies, airlines and tourism boards offering end to end digital marketing services. It has a portfolio of over 500 hospitality companies 5 countries delivering ‘guaranteed revenues’.

It offers integrated digital marketing services –such as website designing and development, revenue management, social media, SEO &SEM, paid media and mobile marketing.Internet Moguls has recently introduced the Digital PR division to manage online reputation for its existing and potential clients. How did the journey begin?
I stepped into my family business in my early twenties .I was 21, and was deeply in love with racing cars. Things changed eventually when one fine day, I wasn’t given any other option and had to enter into my family business as asked by my father.

I joined my family business at a very early age but,i always had a different dream in mind, I dreamt of creating and scaling businesses using technology. And from the word go, it was all about innovation and reinvention for me. During the beginning of the digital age when Google was just coming into the scene, I attended a Google conference in New York, and learned about the Paid Promotion Campaigns (PPC); In India at that time people weren’t aware of the concept. I took and decided to run ads for my own hotel. The risk proved to be quite fruitful. The PPC campaign turned things around as Ajanta Hotel became one of the very few hotels in India, exploring Google ads. Arya’s hotel saw a huge surge in enquiries and I made it a point to personally reply to the queries with warmth that I exuded even today.

Overnight, the hotel became a hit among backpackers and international travellers and today my family hotel business has expanded from 1 to 5 hotels in the first 5 years of his working. Interestingly, it had taken 40 years to build the first one.

Retainer, plus a percentage share of the revenue that the hotels make with the services. We give performance guarantees to hotels and make additional revenues.

What is your recent Traction Details?
Traction is growing at a very healthy and sustainable rate considering we are a services company.

Please share something about your future plans?
The world needs our solutions and though we are in no hurry to burn money, we have a very robust moneymaking business plan ahead.

What kind of Marketing efforts have you been putting in?
Marketing for us is through ambassadors we have ambassadors who vouch for our solutions and then influencers on Instagram and other channels. Taking care of our existing clients gives us the automated marketing we need to spread the word.

What are the challenges faced?
Hotel marketing as a keyword had almost no searches and people never believed in this medium,I was the spokesperson for companies like trip advisor evangelizing hotel marketing digital and social and reputation management and today digital marketing for hotels has become a norm.

- Getting the right people- To have a team that would understand& want to be part of a niche B2B business was not easy.

What kind of Market Size and Opportunity are you looking at?
India has tens of thousands of accomodations with a few lac rooms alone, we work with about 10,000 rooms the upside is huge.
