Any good business idea comes from our own experiences and inspirations. The idea of Laundrynow came through my own bad experiences with my unprofessional Laundromat who used to serve me with his delayed and unprofessional services. And then I felt that there is a strong need to fill the gap by offering comprehensive solutions at an affordable price and in a time bound manner. Thus Laundrynow was born.
How does it work
Customers can simply place an order for Laundry or Iron, Dry Cleaning or range of our other Laundry services through our Mobile Apps, Website, Dedicated Toll free number, or they can Drop their variety of clothes, bed sheets, curtains, sofa covers etc. at our nearest offline outlets.
After booking the services online, A Laundrynow.in agent armed with eco friendly packing bags, shall arrive at customer’s door to pick up the order, within 1 Minutes to 55 Minutes.
Our expert cleaners and masters pressers ensure that customer’s clothes come back to life, looking fresh and vibrant.
The order will be delivered back to the Customers way before the committed time. Our Lead-time for the processes would range between 12 hours to 48 hours, depending upon the kind of Job given.
We also provide urgent services as well by charging an extra premium.

Differentiation
Since we plan to begin our operations from Ahmedabad first and then planning to target all major cities across Gujarat including Rajkot, Jamnagar, Vadodara, Surat, before expanding our wings to other states and as per Laundrynow, existing players are mostly focused into metro regions of the country only.
Since there is no competition presently We have a monopolistic advantage of becoming an early starter in TIER 2 market and get an early traction in an online laundry space.
Funding
The Startup has raised INR 1 Crore as seed capital from an Udaipur based investor, and is in talks with a group of Bangalore based investors for raising another round of INR 7 Cr. Tier 2 Cities focused Laundrynow.in is presently based in Ahmedabad and soon to expand it’s services to Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot. The funds shall be used for Team building, marketing and strengthening the operations.
Traction Details
We launched our website and toll free number on 14th April 2016. Since the Business is at a very nascent stage and we have recently launched, we have received a very strong traction from the Market. So far company has processed and delivered about 1000 Units from 148 Orders in Just 3 Days.
Market Opportunities
Presently the laundry market is largely dominated by offline players, who cater to the premium categories only. However, the price points set by these companies are not the best fit for a massive consumer base. At Laundrynow.in, online laundry space we are trying to fill the gap by offering comprehensive solutions at an affordable price, while challenging ourselves by making it a sustainable business model. We understand that several laundries have popped up across the country over the past years, yet anyone have barely scratched the surface in terms of the addressable market.
Never did we realise that laundry is a Rs. 220,000 crore market. Nor did it strike us that the sheer unorganized shape which includes dhobis, maid servants, and mom-and-pop stores is further valued at Rs 5,000 crores. 98 per cent of which are micro-sized laundries with fewer than 10 workers. All the while, the organized segment comprises 2-3 per cent of the entire laundry market, Which clearly gives us an edge to capture the bigger chunk of the market.
