LxMe is a mobile application that enables digital representations of luxury hotels & resorts. LxMe was founded in January 2016 by Amit Chawla, Gaurav Sharma and Vishal Agarwal.
In an interaction with BW Disrupt, LxMe's Team shared details about their venture.LxMe's USPWith the collapse of Europe & Russia markets, every luxury hotel is eyeing at Asia (with focus on India) & the Middle East, to source the right business for their hotels. Being represented in these regions through a local partner is one of the key strategies that most hotels adopt. Currently, every hotel representation company offers offline services and are still relying on traditional approach to market their clients. LxMe is the only possibility to target right travel agents using data analytics. LxMe is a mobile application that enables Digital Representations of Luxury Hotels & Resorts. By design, the product can be replicated across world markets. The idea is to gain quick market and mindshare for the hotels using intelligent and data supported segmentation of the travel distribution channels. The users of LxMe are travel professionals who are either already operating in the luxury travel space or aspire to be there. The registered users get access to free tools to sell luxury hotels more effectively and the hotels subscribe to have their learning modules on the app. Currently there are 06 top luxury hotels who have subscribed & have paid to be on LxMe.
Are you working on any CSR activity? From the very first event with Travel Agent partners, we engage under-privileged children to create some meaningful giveaways in exchange for their basic needs. At LxMe, each team member contributes as mentor to young and marginalized children by facilitating and guiding them for a better future.
Future PlansTargeting 6000 qualified India travel agents on LxMe platform by the end of 2017. Replicate same model in the middle east market in 2018 followed by more English speaking markets across the world. Phase 3 will be large source markets like China, Russia that are very interesting yet research intensive. Targeting 100 Hotel signups in 2017 & 600+ hotel signups by 2020.

Marketing PlansWe look at travel agents discovery through offline and digital marketing. And we continue to engage travel agents with the right information and tools to save their time. Personal connect through meetings or phone calls. Make the high performers visible in travel agents fraternity. Hoteliers are generally very well connected with each other and it is usually referral based buying. We are currently only focusing on providing great value to the current six hotels. We regularly participate in hotel roadshows and international luxury travel event.
