Pathway Secures $10 Mn Seed Round Led By TQ Ventures To Advance Live AI Development

The funding will support the creation of real-time AI systems capable of dynamic decision-making and complex reasoning, revolutionizing enterprise AI

Pathway, a data company, has declared the successful closure of its USD 10 million seed funding round, aimed at advancing the development of live AI systems. The round was led by TQ Ventures, with additional backing from Kadmos, Inovo, Market One Capital, Id4, and high-profile angel investors. Pathway's innovative technology focuses on creating AI systems that think, learn, and make decisions in real time, just as humans do.

The company’s mission is to develop cutting-edge enterprise AI that can process and interpret dynamic, ever-changing data from both structured and unstructured sources. Pathway’s systems are designed to fuel operational speed AI for organizations, enabling them to make decisions based on up-to-date information, even in industries with strict regulatory and data sensitivity requirements. Their current customer base includes high-profile organizations like Nato and La Poste.

The seed round also saw continued support from Lukasz Kaiser, the company's first investor and co-author of the influential Transformers paper behind GPT models, further cementing Pathway’s position in the rapidly evolving AI space.

"Live AI will be a game-changer for enterprises dealing with complex, changing data sets," said Zuzanna Stamirowska, Co-Founder and CEO of Pathway. "With this funding, we’ll be able to expand our technology to address problems that were previously unsolvable for even the most data-sensitive industries."

Pathway’s development is spearheaded by Co-Founder and CTO Jan Chorowski, who previously worked alongside Geoffrey Hinton, a recent Nobel Prize-winning physicist and AI pioneer, known as the "Godfather of AI." This unique combination of expertise in both the technical and strategic aspects of AI positions Pathway to lead the way in the next generation of live AI technology.

The new funding will enable Pathway to accelerate the development of these breakthrough AI systems, with plans to support the evolution of large language models (LLMs) capable of complex reasoning and decision-making in real-time.
