Ola Electric Mobility has informed about the resignation of two senior executives, Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, and Suvonil Chatterjee, Chief Technology and Product Officer, effective immediately. The company cited personal reasons for their departure, which was formally accepted on 27 December.
Khandelwal, in his resignation statement, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to Ola Electric's vision. "It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for the opportunities to contribute to Ola’s inspiring vision. I carry a deep sense of pride in being part of Ola Electric and wish the team continued success," he said.
The resignations follow a series of high-profile departures at Ola Electric and its parent company, the Ola Group. In October, the company’s Secretary and Compliance Officer also stepped down, citing personal reasons.
This reshuffling in the senior management comes at a critical time for Ola Electric, which recently announced plans to open 3,200 new stores. The expansion will extend beyond metro and tier I and II cities into smaller towns and tehsils, reflecting the company’s drive to reach a wider audience.
Despite a 26 per cent dip in operating revenue in Q2 FY25, with a net loss of Rs 495 crore, Ola Electric recorded a 39 per cent year-on-year revenue increase.
