PAYBACK India Announces Appointment of New COO
PAYBACK, India’s multi-brand loyalty program has announced the appointment of Rijish Raghavan as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee PAYBACK’s India operations. Rijish will continue to lead Business Development & Partner Management portfolios, while taking on additional responsibilities that would encompass Business Intelligence and Compliance.
Rijish has over two decades of experience in leadership roles across industries. He believes in taking the organisation to the next level with expansion across new service categories and customer segments.
Prior to PAYBACK, he has worked at renowned companies like American Express and Cox & Kings. He has been instrumental in leading business development and driving growth for PAYBACK in the country for last four years. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Xavier’s Institute of Management and has a deep understanding of marketing, analytics and technology functions.
RENTSHER Appoints Former Google Executive Anubha Verma as CTO
Rentsher, an online product rental marketplace, has announced the appointment of Anubha Verma, a technology and product engineer, as its Chief Technology Officer for its global operations. Anubha will be a critical contributor to Rentsher’s expansion, as the company plans to develop a more seamless and mobile-friendly platform with a view to enhancing its user-friendliness.
Anubha is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where she completed the integrated 5-year MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2008. She began her professional career as Member of Technical staff at VMWare, working on the pioneering Cloud Computing team. She joined IBM Research in 2009, initially working on high-impact projects for IT service delivery automation initiatives before joining the company’s Smarter Energy Research Group. She then joined Google where she worked for 4 and a half years on various critical projects in Google Cloud Platform as a Senior Software Engineer. Anubha’s association with RentSher goes back to 2015, where she had helped incubate the idea as a Peer2peer rental platform as Investor Director of the company, while she continued her role at Google. As the company scales up across geographies, Anubha is taking over the global role as CTO.
At Rentsher, Anubha will be instrumental in addressing core tech issues, eliminating bottlenecks, and driving the development of a more user-friendly digital interface. She will leverage her experience and expertise in driving the development of cutting-edge and innovative technology solutions to helm Rentsher’s platform in new directions. In the short-term, she intends to add more payment channels to the platform and make it more mobile-friendly. In the longer term, Anubha will look to create the foundation for a technology-enabled ecosystem that provides greater functionality and convenience to vendors and customers alike.
Intellecap Advisory Announces Appointment of Vikas Bali as new CEO
Intellecap, part of the Aavishkaar-Intellecap Group, has announced the appointment of Vikas Bali as the new Chief Executive Officer for the organization. Vikas would set the strategic direction of the company across businesses and geographies. Vikas Bali was earlier holding the role of Managing Director leading the Global Consulting and Research business at Intellecap.
Vikas brings to the table strong people management and team leadership skills, demonstrated over more than two decades of experience. Prior to joining Intellecap, Vikas was Managing Director with Accenture Strategy leading the Products vertical, including Automotive, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences and Retail businesses industries His strengths lie in utilizing innovation, critical reasoning, and commercial acumen to drive superior business performance. Vikas’s previous assignments also include stints at Tata Sky, DEN Networks, AT Kearney and Andersen consulting.

TravelUR Appoints SAP Executive Srinivas Rapthadu to Its Advisory Board
Indian travel social network, Travelur.com, has named Srinivas Rapthadu an alumnus of Wharton School of Business and a Technology Leader at SAP to its advisory board. The move is a part of TravelUR’s plan to enhance the platform with AI, Cognitive Computing and RPA and leverage his experience as technology evangelist & business leader, and his expertise in value creation through emerging technologies.
Srinivas Rapthadu currently serves as Sr. Director, Leonardo & Analytics CC, office of the CEO at SAP. Over his 20 years of career, he held several global positions in Strategy, Business Development, Go- to-Market, Product management and Customer management and helped companies of all sizes achieve value creation through digital business transformation. In his most recent role as Fellow with SAP Private Equity Group, he led business development and strategic initiatives with private equity firms through individual and cross portfolio value creation activities, and executive workshops. His work also includes helping private equity portfolio companies and corporate acquirers leverage technology to facilitate M&A transactions and accelerate business value creation.

NiYO Appoints Vineet Sethi as New Chief Marketing Officer
NiYO Solutions Inc., a new-age digital banking solution for the salaried employees, announced the appointment of Vineet Sethi as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Vineet will be responsible for driving NiYO’s marketing efforts and establishing the brand’s leadership in the payroll and benefits sector.
Coming with a solid 15 years’ of experience in the banking sector, Vineet has developed his expertise in consumer finance and employee banking. He began his career as Sales Manager at ICICI Bank and has spent 12 years at Standard Chartered Bank, handling various roles in sales. He was the Executive Director Head - Employee Banking in his last two years at the bank. He finally moved on from Standard Chartered to run his own startup, The Bag Talk- an e-commerce platform for bags. Vineet is a gold medallist from Goa Institute of Management and an alumna of Delhi University.
Vineet’s experience as the head of Employee Banking at Standard Chartered will help him differentiate NiYO as the only fintech startup operating in the field of payroll and benefits solution in the market. He will also develop a roadmap for the company to reach the unorganised workforce, for them to be included in the traditional banking system.
