“Just a decade back, it was difficult to convince customers to opt for a business centre,” says Nakul Mathur, Managing Director, Avanta Business Centre. “Now it is a fashion statement to work in a plug and play office.”
From a conventional mind-set of ‘office toh apna hona chahiye’ to a swanky, equipped space with modern amenities, the idea of a business centre has evolved with time. All thanks to the startup ecosystem as it has addressed the problem of ‘no capital’. You don’t need capital to set up an office now!
Avanta is the business centre services provider in the Delhi-NCR region offering fully furnished business centres and office space solutions. The facilities are completely equipped with modern amenities such as virtual offices, meeting rooms, IP based telephony, receptionist and office service staff amongst others. Avanta provides fully unbranded and customisable state-of-the-art office spaces at premium locations in Delhi-NCR with utilities, maintenance and infrastructure completely taken care of, at transparent pricing offering exceptional value for money.
Occupying a total footprint of 1.25 lakh sq, ft in Delhi-NCR, Avanta provides services in four locations in Delhi and one in Gurugram. Taking its first steps in 2008 from the iconic and easily-identifiable Statesman House in Barakhamba Road, Avanta has established its office spaces at strategic locations including Southern Park, Saket, Park Centra, Sector-30, Gurgaon and International Trade Tower, Nehru Place and Worldmark 2, Aerocity, near Indira Gandhi International airport.
“The most important part of a business centre is to provide the ease of doing business. And that’s what our focus is to ensure that the product and services offered fit into everyone’s business needs,” says Mathur.
So how easily do you cater to everybody’s profile? “Most clients are corporate and MNCs with very specific needs. The checklist is important and when we design our product we think about the criteria. For example, IT companies require best technology and data security. Some even like to work with the sales team with access to a meeting area. Also a good business address matters a lot apart from factors like comfort and convenience,” he adds.
With about 500 clients on board, Avanta caters to all sectors – finance, FMCG, BFSI, IT, Consulting companies, defence, agriculture; couple of companies who sell technology, not IT technology, but technology companies.
Mathur feels that the biggest USP of a business centre is that everyone has their own office space unlike the co-working spaces with zero privacy and security. “In a serviced office kind of a business centre, meeting room is not the co-product. The co-product is the office space. Meeting room is the secondary product that comes as a facility to the office space. So this basically evolved from companies not wanting to spend capital in setting up offices,” he adds.
From its inception in 2008 in Delhi/NCR, now Avanta plans to launch in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune by the end of 2017. Avanta was founded by UK-based entrepreneur David Alberto, who has over 18 years of experience in running business centres.
