Pune-Based MyLab’s Initiates COVID-19 Mobile Testing Vans

The pandemic has brought to the forefront the empathetic and resilient side of Indian start-ups. In 2020, Mylab PathoDetect COVID-19 Qualitative PCR kit was launched by MyLab’s, a diagnostic start-up. It is also the first to receive commercial approval from CDSCO Mylab Discovery Solutions. The molecular diagnostics start-up has now introduced mobile testing labs across the country to address the increasing demand for coronavirus testing.

MyLab’s deploying 50 NABL certified mobile vans (which are also ICMR-approved), which can conduct 1,000 Covid tests daily. These vans are powered by their Compact XL automating machine and can be parked anywhere with ease. In addition, the start-up is working on a point-of-care Coronavirus testing facility that is flexible enough to be installed anywhere. In fact, MyLab’s is also working on five such projects to combat the second wave of the pandemic.
