Set up in May 2015 (launched operations on July 27) by Anupam Agarwal & Karan Jain, two Ex-Associate Partners of McKinsey with a comprehensive background of a decade each, Revv offers Doorstep Delivery of Cars along with Unlimited Kilometers pricing plan. It is presently live in Delhi, Hyderabad & Bangalore.
In conversation with Chahat Jain of BWBusinessworld, Karan Jain, Co-Founder & COO, Revv says that there is enough potential in the car rental market in India. He later said that they wanted to be the thought leaders and caters to the Indian market. Check out the above video to know more about their venture and future plans.The company is funded by Ananth Narayanan, the newly hired CEO of Myntra, the CEO of DEN Online, more than 10 Directors and Partners from McKinsey (including the heads of logistics and automotive practices), senior executive from an investment fund, and a German soccer professional.
Its portfolio comprises of cars from SUVs, sedans, hatchbacks to ultra-luxury cars. It aspires to be the largest self-drive car rental company in India, with a presence in 6-8 major cities within 1 year and a fleet of 30,000+ cars in 4-5 years. Presently Revv’s owns a fleet of 300 cars in the three cities- Delhi, Mumbai & Hyderabad.
The company recently hired an Ex-Myles Chetan Jain as their City CEO in Hyderabad. Its app is available for

About Co-foundersAnupam Agarwal, Co-founder & CEO Anupam Agarwal is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Revv. He takes care of the overall strategy, senior-level hiring, equity and debt funding, technology and product development, call centre operations.
An MBA from IIM Calcutta (2006), BE from NIT Bhopal (2004), Anupam Agarwal was an Associate partner at McKinsey & Company, and holds 8.5 years of experience with them prior to Revv. During his tenure there, Anupam established himself as a thought leader within McKinsey, covered an extraordinarily large number of sectors within a short span of time, and was fast-tracked to the Associate Partner position (in 5.5 years since joining McKinsey as a fresher).
Karan Jain, Co-Founder & COOKaran Jain is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Revv. He heads the team of operations and helps in key areas of Marketing, Finance, Legal and Accounting.
A BCom (Hons) graduate from Hansraj College and an MBA graduate from IMI, Karan Jain was a Junior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was one of the core leaders of the Asian Oil and Gas and Energy practices prior to Revv.
Today, his core mission is to take Revv to great heights and make it one of the largest car sharing companies in India in the next 5 years along with the support of his partner Anupam Agarwal and his employees.
