Role Of Enablers In Creating Social Impact

The pandemic saw many students coming together to form groups that are working towards a common social goal. Educators and enablers have used this as an opportunity to double down on their efforts to support students and individuals who want to create a positive impact but do not necessarily have the tools to achieve it on their own.

Sumita Ghose, Founder & Director, Rangsutra talks about the importance of empowering artisans. Ghose says, “By being the change we want to see on this world, we enlist our artisans to run a company with us. It is for the people, by the people.”

Ojasvi Babbar, CEO, Amity Technology Incubators comments on the long term impact of social goals. Babbar states, “If you look deep enough, there are sustainable models in the social space as well. This along with right mentorship can go towards creating social impact.”

It is the duty of the enablers to provide the right mentorship, tools and the much needed funding that goes towards reaching these goals.
