PTI reports that CL Educate, an education and knowledge services provider; T-Hub, India’s largest startup incubator and TiE Hyderabad have signed MoUs with premier institutions like IIT-BHU, IIT-ISM Dhanbad, IIIT Bangalore in addition to MoUs signed with private and public sector corporates, startups and early investment funds.
These MoUs are aimed at capacity building at tertiary education institutions across India by making provisions for research fellowships and scholarships; funds raisers from corporates or angel investors, and by increasing support for startups in patent and intellectual property management, mentoring and go-to-market strategy and commercialisation.
The announcements in this regard were made at the second edition of the two-day MeltingPot 2020 Innovation Summit 2017 which commenced today.
CL Educate Chairman Satya Narayanan R said, “CL Educate and T-Hub have also signed a MoU with a leading public enterprise to work with 30 science and engineering colleges in Hyderabad and Telangana region to enable research and innovation.
An investment to the tune of Rs 2.5 crore will be made by the PSU as part of its corporate social responsibility."
The second edition of MeltingPot2020 will be focusing on themes such as, Israel: The Start Up Nation", the organisers of MeltingPot2020 said.
"MeltingPot 2020 will witness the signing of more such MoUs connecting eminent institutions, corporates, government bodies and investors and angel networks to impact the innovation and entrepreneurship landscape on a national and regional level," they said.
