When The Time Is Right I Will Say Those Three Words, Says Karan Johar

The Karan Johar Kangana Ranaut spat is not new for the gossip mongers in Bollywood. But Karan's take on Kangana post the spat is certainly interesting. Karan calls himself a big fan of Kangana and feels she is a powerhouse of talent.

Karan Johar who was the first guest at "The Town Hall" a talk show put together by Barkha Dutt's MOJO in association with BW Businessworld was certainly not diplomatic in anything he said.

Ever since Karan has announced the birth of his twins Roohi and Yash, he has been a subject of scrutiny and trolls on the social media. From people calling him irresponsible to a lunix. Karan takes this criticism positively and feels he does not have to shy away from any situation but he is at his best when he faces the situation.

Karan who is new to parenthood has been on a paternity leave for a month. "There is still so much that I am learning about being a father, I have 4 nannies and still barely get any sleep."

Karan spilled some beans on his relationship with Ajay Devgan. Addressing Devgan as "That man" he said "Ajay is not a friend not even an acquaintance , he is just a man in Kajol's life and that is the only reason I respect him."

Karan's relationship with Kajol dates back to a very long time but things are not rosy between the two anymore. Karan has shed a lot of light on his relationship with Kajol in his autobiography "The Unsuitable boy".

"Relationships break, friendships close down. I had a wonderful relationship with Kajol but I think our relationship has hit its expiry date."

Talking about his recent spat Kangana he said there are no hard feelings between the two and he will definitely invite her to his next A list party.

Discussing about the criticism he faces about the kind of films he makes he said there is a genre of films for every filmmaker "I am an NRI film maker who makes films on first world issues. And I am proud of all the films I make. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is my favourite film."

"Everyone is aware of my sexual orientation but they still want to hear the three words, but I am not going to say them, maybe someday when the time is right for it.",he added.

"I have done a lot of work for the LGBT community which has gone unnoticed but that won't stop me from doing more. Dostana was one of them, and it brought out the issue of homosexuality to the common man's dining table", said Karan.

Barkha concluded the talk show with a rapid fire in Karan Johar style which Karan acred gracefully.
