Yes Madam started in October 2016 by Garima Sharma, Mayank Arya, Aditya Arya and Yukti Batra. It is a user-based platform that provides luxury beauty services at home through unique per minute price model. “We have all the potential to disrupt the beauty industry on the lines of Uber/Ola and will be the next big thing in the beauty industry,” says Garima Sharma. Yes Madam provides unified booking platform for all the beauty services.
BW Disrupt interacts with Garima Sharma, Co-founder, Yes MadamUSPYes Madam believes in challenging the status quo. We make beauty services affordable and transparent. Yes Madam uses sealed mono doses (one time use) beauty products which cannot be refilled or tampered unlike other salons. Beauticians will unseal the products in front of the customer and if the product is left it will be handed over to the client to use next time. Yes Madam also gives the luxury to the client to give their own product as well. Thereby, maintaining complete transparency and hygiene in the services.
For instance a normal hair spa with Yes Madam has two separate charges: service charge + material cost. So if the customer gives their own product, we only charge for the services at Rs 5 per minute or Rs 300 and if the customer uses Yes Madam material, material cost is added. For shoulder length hair spa, it takes 30 mins x 5 = Rs 150 + Rs 200 product cost= Rs 350. Thus, making the services affordable.
CSRAs a part of our corporate social responsibility, we make sure our beauticians earn more than any average beautician. In a salon beauticians work for 8 hours and make Rs 9000- 10,000 per month in a salon. At Yes Madam, we aspire every beautician to work for 4 hours a day x 300 = Rs 1200 per month day. Thereby making Rs 30000 per month.
Currently bootstrapped, the traction is carried out with 600+ queries (within a range of 2 km) with 70 % repeat rate and average ticket size of Rs 900.
Future PlansTo be one of the major players in online booking for 20 billion beauty services market. We hope that in the next two years entire country uses our home beauty services.
