In an interaction with Sujata Sangwan of BW Businessworld, Zeleno's Founders - Nimish Gupta and Prateek Mittai talked about their venture. The startup involves collection of plastic pet bottles and aluminum cans via machines called reverse vending machines(RVM’s). These machines will accept empty plastic PET bottles and aluminum cans and will reward the user with coupons/cash back/e-money for helping in saving the environment.
