AI-Based Video-bot Startup Expertrons Raises Funds Through Seed Funding

Founded by Vivek Gupta and Jatin Solanki, IIT Bombay alumnus, the startup is trying to solve the last mile problems of students and professionals to make the correct career choices. The seed funding was led by Nikhil Vohra, MD Sixth Sense Ventures, Iceland Venture Studio, Lets Venture, Samyakth Capital along with few individual investors including Dr Sukanta Ganguly of ClickIPO, Rohit Chanana of Sarcha Advisors and Sumit Chhazed of OTO Capital. The funding amount hasn't been disclosed.    


Expertrons has a video-bots of more than 550 experts along with more than 12,000 minutes of videos to help students find their right career choices. These experts are from the leading firms of the country such as BCG, Google, Morgan Stanley, Pepsi, and various others from IIMs, Harvard or ISB. These video-bots help students to find the correct career choices wherein students can ask questions like 'How to crack the interview at Google' or 'How to get selected at Harvard', etc. 

Vivek Gupta, Co-founder, Expertrons said, "Expertrons is essentially a Netflix for career hacks. We founded it with the vision to reimagine career decisions for the 1.87 billion professionals globally who change their careers 5 to 7 times in their lifetime." The startup claims to have collaborated with more than 30 colleges across the country. It is also one of the three startups selected at Mexico's TecLabs Accelerator. It is also associated with Tec De Monterrey, a Mexican University.
