AI Startup Crux Bags $2.6 Mn In Seed Round

Y Combinator-backed AI startup Crux raised USD 2.6 million in its seed round, according to media reports. Emergent Ventures led the round, with notable participation from Y Combinator and Neon Fund. The funding round also attracted investment from First Cheque and various other investors.

Among the supporters of Crux are prominent individuals and industry veterans, including Tej Redkar (CPTO – SumoLogic), Karthik Ramamoorthy (SVP, Products and GM – Zuora), Aayush Phumbra (cofounder – Chegg), and Krishna Mehra (Director of Engineering – Meta), among others.

Established in 2022 by Himank Jain, Atharva Padhye, and Prabhat Singh, Crux specialises in assisting B2B SaaS teams in expediting the development of embedded AI copilots. These copilots are designed to generate AI models capable of interpreting business data and providing responses in plain language, akin to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Crux recently participated in Y Combinator’s winter 2024 batch, joining a cohort that includes notable startups like ParcelBio, Million.js, Quivr, Forge, and Dragoneye.
