Brite Camp - A Platform for Kids to Showcase and Sell Their Arts and Craft

Brite Camp is an online marketplace where children across the world who have interest towards arts and craft will be able to showcase their arts and craft. Brite Camp endeavor to foster the talent of the creative children by giving them a platform to showcase the big or small creative stuff that they make. The children can further get their family, relatives, elders and friends to like and comment on it. They can further share it with their friends and teachers.

The interesting part is for every activity the child will be able to gain Brite Camp points. Once the child has earned enough Brite Camp points she/he can go ahead and select from the Brite Camp redemption cart and get cool things related to arts and craft. The amazing this is all these things will come free of cost to the children. Brite Camp will ship these things to the child absolutely free.

Another interesting thing about Brite Camp is that it allows the child to assign a price tag to the creatives that they make. People who are willing to buy they can go ahead and buy by paying the price. Alternatively they can pay a higher price as well to encourage the child. The reason being Brite Camp is not looking at commercializing the platform but trying to work towards a bigger cause – Children supporting underprivileged children. It’s understood that the children’s creative are priceless and no price can be assigned to it, but if any child is ready to donate things for a cause Brite Camp is happy to do it.

50% of the sale proceeds will goes towards a charitable cause [Children related Charity] and the child will be getting 30% of the sale proceeds and 20% will be retained by Brite Camp for operational cost.

Brite Camp by virtue of the platform is trying to do couple of things here:

1. Provide a platform to foster the creativity of children and to encourage them to keep doing what they like during their past time
2. Give a discovery platform for the children’s art and craft to be discovered early in their career
3. Bring a mindset change with the parents that fine arts can be also a mainstream career option
4. Fostering the philanthropic thing in the children early in their life
5. Connecting children with similar interest across the world to exchange ideas
6. Give an opportunity to the enterprising children to hone their skills.

To conclude, this is a platform “By the Children, For the Children“. "We really like and appreciate the arts and crafts created by the children with all the passion and love. We would like to see the Picassos, Michelangelos or M F Hussains of the next generation getting a platform to showcase themselves and get discovered early," the team added.

IIMPACT

IIMPACT provides educational opportunity to girls, from socially and economically disadvantaged communities of India, who traditionally have no access to schooling. Their aim is to break the cycle of illiteracy that girls from such communities are mired in. This is done through local community-based Learning Centers, where they get meaningful and stimulating education up to Year 5 and are guided to their entry in to mainstream education.

Established in 2003, IIMPACT has identified a specific focus, developed a clear strategy and proved the delivery model in terms of social outcomes as well as scalability. Educating the Girl Child has been shown to transform the community.

• IIMPACT has benefited 60,000 girls in 11 States of India.
• Almost all girls who complete the Class V program go on to middle and high school

100% of donor funds go towards educating girls.

Brite Camp is speaking to other charitable causes and identifying the causes that genuinely needs support.
