Cloudatix is an emerging Smart City Solutions Provider based out of Noida which was launched in September 2013. It has 3 founding members: Sanjay Sharma, Dr. Sanjeev Singh (Mentor), Dr. Ciby Thomas who lives in the USA.

The company has built various products for the internet, health, education and television industries through the use of BCCN. Cloud, Data, and Analytics gave the name of the brand Cloudatix. Driven by a demand for connectivity, data analytics and networked interconnection of everyday objects with embedded computers, the disappearance of sensors and computers has lead to the inception of the Cloudatix. How was it Started?
Mr. Sanjay Sharma had the pleasure of serving some of the large multinational companies in IT & Telecom such HP, Mitel, Alcatel, Lucent and SAS overseas that gave him great learning and exposure in the areas of Product Development, Applications Development, Consulting, and Management Practices. Having achieved a fair level of success as a professional, it gave him a stimulation to become an entrepreneur and start a venture that is as broad and resourceful as Cloudatix. He planned to work on technologies that were needed by the market, products that were essential but not available. His ideas got a further endorsement from various industry leaders and most importantly from friend and mentor Dr. Sanjeev Singh.

Talk about its unique key feature/services?to know more about their entrepreneurial journey?
The company has differentiated its services by performing in-house product development to cater the needs of Smart Cities. Solutions provided are apt for people connected with the internet, IoT, Display Networks or those who deal with Analytics.

Cloudatix pioneered the concept for formulating the solution for Ministry of Railways under the brand name RDN through a consortium of ITV and Gaian. The RDN solution is first of its kind not only in India but globally which integrates 2175 Railways Stations through providing over 200000 display screens centrally managed, integrating real time auction engine, exchange servers, railways operational information and customer applications. Based on the RDN concept, Cloudatix also initiated the Bus Display Network (BDN) for Delhi Government for the DTC buses. This solution integrates and displays Bus Route Number, Headway Management, Advertising, Surveillance Camera, Wi-Fi, Electronic Bus Stop Board and Bus Information Application at every place through a Central Command Center. The final solutions are delivered through cloud and PPP model.

How is it different from existing ones?
The above solution is unique at this time whereas the nearby comparable solution under Digital Advertising doesn’t entail the real time auction or live advertisement insertion.

What is the current funding Status & Monetization Model?
The company was initially self - funded with the help of our founding members and the revenue generated by some of our ventures was used to support newer projects that are fuelling the organization. The company is currently engaged in raising the funds through the VCs for fuelling the growth from this stage.

What is your vision about the future?
Cloudatix plans to spread across India and is currently seeking investors to fund their various initiatives that have already been tested and implemented in the field.

What kind of Marketing Plans do you have in mind?
Cloudatix has spent last three years in creating some revolutionary products, solutions, and service platforms. The company has been able to deliver the solution to acquire the anchor customers. Now is the time to take all these solutions to unexplored markets across the country.

What are the challenges you faced initially?
Our projects are big and the investment required is similarly large. Apart from this, marketing new ideas to various stakeholders is also not easy. People are wary of innovation and want to play safe. But we are persisting and creating trust in both our partners and clients.

What is your Market Size & Opportunity?
Today, competition has become a part of a macro economy. A company from any industry can influence overall consumer behaviors and expectations. It has been diligently observed that all the new entrants by looking at the new consumer trends they are introducing. Cloudtatix believe that companies like Amazon and Uber, have changed the way customers think about services and product delivery.
