Dreamwallets has secured an undisclosed amount in seed round from a clutch of investors that includes Siddharth Banerjee & Vikas Ranjan from Indusind Bank, Anshul Jindal, a senior Investment Officer with a Switzerland based investment house with $3 billion AuM, Sunil Koul, Executive Director with a Hong Kong based leading Investment Bank, Sanjeev Agrawal, a leading industrialist, Rakesh Gupta & Aditya Aggarwal - leading Chartered Accountants amongst others.
Dreamwallets started its operations in July 2015 and quickly expanded into Mumbai and Pune with their satellite offices, and till date have successfully run more than 100+ campaigns across genres and have contributors coming in from over 200 cities and tens of countries worldwide.The company also claims to have a four-digit number of registered users who regularly endorse and support the projects listed.
Nikhil Agrawal and Manish Harodia founded Dreamwallets. Nikhil has worked with J.P Morgan and SMC Capitals in M&A and PE fund raising, while Manish has been a seasoned entrepreneur and this is his third venture after exiting successfully from his previous ones.
The funds raised will be utilized to double up business development team, investment in technology and for creating awareness about the crowdfunding concept, says Nikhil.
Manish stated that in the coming months, they will be launching Dreamwallets Version 2.0 which makes the crowdfunding journey a real joy with a strong community development at its nucleus. He says that the company aims to launch more than 10,000 projects in next 2 years.
