Digit Insurance—today announced the launch of Digit Undergraduate Training Program (DUGTP) that will target students who have completed 12th Standard in 2018 and are interested to build their skills to make a career in the technology space.
The program is designed for students who might be either thinking of discontinuing education due to lack of financial support or are looking for options where they can earn along with their graduation. The program will aim to encourage the concept, ‘Earn while you Learn’.
Amrit Arora, Sr. Vice President Human Resource, Digit Insurance said, “With Digit UGT program we are trying to build a batch of young, enthusiastic students, who can be groomed as per the company’s roadmap and eventually can be absorbed as a full-time resource in the technology team. Digit will give a platform to the students who have just completed their 12th standard and are looking to join an engineering college to become an IT professional. With Digit’s UGT program we not only support the students to complete their part time graduation but also help them build a career in technology.”
DUGTP is a three-year training program for students in any stream. In this three years’ program, the students will learn different technologies that are relevant in the current market. The trainees will be required to complete their part-time graduation by the end of the third year. Basis the completion of the training program and graduation, the trainee will be confirmed as a full-time employee of Digit as an Associate.
