EaseMyTrip has announced its highest-ever earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) for the fiscal year 2024, reaching Rs 2,282 million, marking a 19 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth. The company's consolidated revenue from operations for the same period was Rs 5,906 million, a 32 per cent increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
In the fourth quarter of FY24, EaseMyTrip saw significant growth across various segments, with hotel night bookings rising by 39 per cent to 1.4 lakh, contributing 12 per cent to segment revenue. Bookings in the Train, Buses, and Others segment increased by 53 per cent to 2.7 lakh, contributing 8 per cent to segment revenue.
The Gross Booking Revenue for the quarter was Rs 20,900 million, while EBITDA stood at Rs 577 million, both reflecting a 24 per centY-o-Y increase. Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q4 FY24 was Rs 550.7 million, also a 24 er cent Y-o-Y increase.
Throughout FY24, the company reported a 49 per cent increase in hotel night bookings to 5.2 lakh, contributing 9% to segment revenue. Train, Buses, and Others bookings surged by 67 per cent to 10.4 lakh, contributing 9 per cent to segment revenue.
The Gross Booking Revenue for the year was Rs 85,126 million, a 6 per cent increase. Overall, EaseMyTrip achieved a 19 per cent growth in EBITDA to Rs 2,282 million and a 16 per cent growth in PBT to Rs 2,151 million for FY24
