Google Launchpad Accelerator Shortlists 6 Indian Startups for Second Batch

Google’s Launchpad Accelerator has selected six indian startups for mentorship at its headquarters in Silicon Valley, California.The six month long mentorship programme for mid to late stage start-ups will include $50,000 in equity-free funding, a two-week all-expenses paid bootcamp at Google headquarters, six months of ongoing mentorship and access to Google's full suite of Launchpad initiatives and connections and product credits including Google Cloud and other products. The selected startups will start the programme on June 13, 2016.

Launchpad Accelerator Program brings together mentors and experts from Google and outside to help the startups see success.

Here’s the brief description of six Indian startups selected for the program:

MagicPin

Gurgaon-based MagicPin is a community that binds people, activities and merchants in a locality.

PlaySimple Games

Bangalore-based PlaySimple Games is a mobile gaming startup. They are taking an analytics driven approach to generate highly predictable outcomes in a hits driven market.

Programming Hub

Thane-based Programming Hub is a one-stop solution to learn all the top programming languages in the smartest possible way.

RedCarpet

Gurgaon-based RedCarpet is data driven lending for the underbanked, powered by proprietary credit scoring. Redcarpet enables people to purchase products using their smartphone and pay back in convenient installments.

ShareChat

Bangalore-based ShareChat is a vernacular social network for the next billion internet users.

Taskbob

Mumbai-based Taskbob has a vision of "creating happy households" by delivering reliable home services to its customers, while significantly improving the productivity of its service partners.
