Sustainability and climate management solutions provider LogicLadder has secured USD 2.5 million in a funding round led by Singapore-based Big Capital and Zerodha-backed venture fund Rainmatter.
The company plans to utilise the funds to expand its presence in South Asia and North America. Established in 2011 by Chauhan and Atindra Chandel, the Gurugram-based firm aids businesses worldwide in measuring, reporting and reducing their environmental impact.
Recent reports suggest that favourable policies and a growing consumer base are drawing venture capital investors to support startups in India’s climate tech sector, particularly in the early stages. For instance, on 19 March, carbon emission management platform Sprih raised USD 3 million in a funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm Leo Capital. Additionally, climate tech startup Varaha, focused on offsetting greenhouse gas emissions, secured USD 8.7 million in a funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm RTP Global, as per a report on 22 February.
