1. getmigetmi was founded in August 2015 by Shravya Reddy (CEO), Yashwanth M (CTO). "getmi" as the name suggests is a motorcycle ride sharing application which is tailor-made for the Indian audience. It makes travelling affordable & convenient and fast to the greater population of our country. Currently the city Hyderabad has, on an average 70 lakh commuting population on a daily basis. They are trying to solve that last mile connectivity for everyone who would want to reach on time, but are unable to, due to public transportation hassles might be traffic or anything else. Travelling by two-wheeler helps you reach your destination faster and is a very less troublesome process. This would in a way help us decongest the roads of the city by optimizing the already existing vehicles available. The startup has about 5000 downloads, and they won in Startupthon Season 1, 123 Rider base in city. They are in talks with L&T metro in Hyderabad being our next major plan for tie-ups.
2. RapidoRapido was founded in November 2015 by Aravind Sanka, Pavan G, Rishikesh Sr. It is a tech enabled curated platform for two wheeler ride sharing. Rapido enables people to commute anywhere in the city in an affordable and convenient manner by connecting them to the nearby Rapido partners (Two wheeler owners).
Rapido executed more than 3 lakh Rides till date and has about 75K+ downloads. It is present in two metro cities Bangalore, Delhi NCR.
They charge commission on every ride.
3. RoadpandaBangalore based startup Roadpanda was founded on 11th July 2014 by Vijay Meena and Abhilash Nair. It is a bike rental company. User can rent a bike by making online reservation. Their goal is to provide seamless bike rental service. They have 6000 visits per month on their website and have around 2300+ registered users.
Their aim is to provide bike rental services throughout India. Till now they are self funded but they will start looking for investment for future growth.
4. AutoyaarAutoyaar was founded in October 2015 by Bharat Ostwal, Sunil Gupta, Abhishek Gupta & Amisha Shah. It is an online marketplace and a one stop solution for Two Wheeler & Four Wheeler servicing. Car & Bike Service and Repairs, Car Spa, Accidental Repair, tires, Batteries and a lot of other after sale services can be availed through Autoyaar.com. With network of verified service providers and facilities like pick-up & drop-off, service advising, online payments, re-repair guarantees, post service support they ensure high quality services with competitive pricing. It’s an easy and hassle free way of getting your automobiles serviced. Autoyaar aims to bridge the gap between customers and the service providers making it easy for them to plan and manage their bookings efficiently.
Its target audience is anybody and everybody who owns a two or a four wheeler. Launched in Ahmadabad they have expanded their services in Pune as well. They have signed up with more than 110 service providers which include big names like Bosch Car Service, CarzSpa, Castrol Pitstop, as well as authorized service providers. More than 1550 customers have availed their services till date and the number is increasing with every passing day.
They are planning to expand to Mumbai, Delhi & Hyderabad in the next 12 months. Apart from automobile servicing, they will have Roadside Assistance, Insurance, Auto-Inspection and a few other services added to its platform.
They charge commission Fees from the Service Providers.
5. gear6.ingear6.in launched a pilot version in October 2015. Full Fledged operations were started from February 2016 by Rakesh Vaddadi (CEO), Srikanth Nelakuditi (COO), Harrsha Chaitanya (CMO), Kumud Kumar (CTO). gear6.in is a technology driven platform providing upkeep services in the automotive sector. Automotive maintenance segment as a whole is fragmented in our country where there is a lack of transparency, communication and convenience in the services provided. They have set out on a revolutionary path to bridge this gap with technological intervention in this sector. Their aim is to bring the complete automotive sector online and to make the sector easily accessible to the common man at the touch of a button. They are starting with 2-Wheeler maintenance and servicing as their first phase of operations and planning to expand into the sales of the motorbike parts and re-sales of the vehicles in the next phases before moving on into the 4 wheeler segment.
They have handled 4300 bikes so far and has 2700 registered users. The application was launched in May 2016 and has about 500+ downloads till date.
They have tie-ups with 150+ Service centers in Bangalore. Recently Launched a beta phase in Hyderabad and is planning to move forward in other Major metro cities.
They charge the customer a nominal convenience fee and will be launching 24x7 roadside assistance soon.
6. Let’s serviceLet’s services was founded in October 2015 by Sachin Shenoy, Girish Gangadhar, Sachin Radder. Let’s Service, based in Bangalore, makes it very convenient for two-wheeler owners to get their vehicles serviced by the authorized service centers with tech-enabled, on-demand scheduling followed by reliable pickup and/or drop off from any location in the city.
Let’s Service partners with the major two-wheeler brands and their authorized service centers to provide significant value for all stakeholders by eliminating inefficiencies through the application of technology and reliable pickup/drop logistics management resulting in improved return on investment for the two-wheeler owners and enhance their brand loyalty.
They have served 10,000+ Customers since January 2016 and have 180+ Service Centres on board. Currently the startup is present in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune. It has raised an Angel round in January 2016. The startup charges a convenience fee from the customers.
7. Royal BrothersRoyal Brothers was founded in July 2015 by TN Manjunath, Abhishek Chandrashekar. Royal Brothers is an RTO Authorized Self-Ride Bike Rental Service Provider. They are based out of Bangalore operating in 6 cities (Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Udupi, Manipal, Belgaum) and scaling up exponentially. They currently have a staggering fleet size of 250 including all Royal Enfield models, Honda Activa and Suzuki Access. They are a mix of state-of-the-art technology and scrupulous operation to put a rider on his bike and a smile on his face!
They have around 18,000 registered users, 7,000 bookings and 1.5 millions kilometres on road. The company monetizes by Rental charges and helmets, Mobile holders rental.
8. WheelstreetWheelstreet was founded in November 2014 by Pranay Shrivastava (CEO), Moksha Srivastava (CMO), Mritunjay Kumar (COO). It is a two-wheeler rental platform that aims to make traveling and commuting more convenient and enjoyable. Wheelstreet is based on an aggregator model and uses technology to connect potential customers to vendors. By using their website or Android App,customers can look at all the two-wheelers available for rent and select the one they need. They can make the payment online and opt for home delivery as well for a completely hassle-free process. They have a wide range of two-wheelers on rent ranging from scooters to Royal Enfields and high-end premium bikes like Harley-Davidson and Suzuki Hayabusa which cater to the wants of everyone looking to rent a bike. Wheelstreet also offers its customers the lowest rental tariffs in the market, variable rental durations, complimentary helmets and unlimited kilometers.
They have served about 20,000+ customers. The startup provide its services in Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida. In just 20 days of app launch the startup has 10,000+ downloads.
They are planning to expand in Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai and 2 cities in the north with 75+ vendors by next month and have plans to go pan-India by the end of 2017.
