Mohit Sadaani, the former founder of D2C mom and baby care startup The Moms Co, has joined early-stage venture capital firm DeVC as its managing director. This move comes two years after his exit from The Moms Co, during which he engaged in angel investing, backing 30 startups including Perfora, Zippee, and BizUp.
In his new role, Sadaani aims to redefine the venture capital landscape. "From founder to investor—a new chapter begins as Managing Director at DeVC," he stated. Reflecting on his journey, he added, "The moments that excited me most were those spent helping founders through their toughest challenges." He emphasised his commitment to supporting startups, saying, "I want to help Founders succeed."
DeVC, founded in 2022, focuses on angel, seed, and pre-seed investments, embodying the mantra "For Founders, By Founders." The firm aims to provide hands-on support from individuals who have experienced the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
