Therefore as of now, Partnership of e portals and stores is helping them serve larger orders.
“Based on feedback from industry, obtaining curfew passes for delivery personnel is still a challenge in many parts of the country. In addition, availability of workforce is also a challenge now for warehousing and delivery personnel as migrant labour moves back to their hometowns,” the industry sources had informed earlier. However, with new partnerships, the scenario is changing drastically.
Simultaneously, there was no improvement in the accessibility of basic necessities in stores, which remained at 64% for the most recent two-day time span, as per the review done in an organization with the Department of Consumer Affairs. Stores despite everything have a far way to go at the availability level of 83% between March 22 and 23. For the web-based e-portals, availability of products before the lockdown remained at 65%.
