Quick Forex Aims to Have Branches Pan India by the End of 2017

Quick Forex is a Delhi-based company that provides one-stop solutions to all your travel needs. BWDisrupt's Soumya Gupta spoke to Yash Sharma, the Founder of Quick Forex to know more about the venture which began in May 2015.

How was it started?
Quick Forex is the brainchild of Yash Sharma, who appreciates and understands the needs of the dapper modern-day man. The company is striving to make foreign travel an easy and memorable experience for everyone, allowing people to plan their travel in the most easiest and cost-effective way. From hotels, air tickets, visa, overseas education, non-business financial transfers, customized luxury travel packages to foreign exchange, everything is available on one platform.

How is it different from existing players in the same space?

The company is completely focusing upon digital base, we’re available online and serve 24/7 to our customers. We’ve also incorporated Private Air Charter services which have been on high demand from our clients. From Hotels, Air Tickets, Visa, Overseas Education, Non- business financial transfers, customized Luxury Travel packages to Foreign Exchange, Quick Forex has the solution to all these services.

Quick Forex is one of the few authorized dealers by the Reserve Bank of India, in India. With the vision to provide superior quality online Foreign exchange services globally & to further accentuate their keen interest in complete customer satisfaction; this platform aims at enabling its customers to obtain Foreign exchange in the quickest way and at the cheapest rates possible with its minute -to -minute update of currency rates and doorstep delivery.

What is the Funding Status at present for Quick Forex?
We’ve got funds of approx. 2 Lakh USD.

What do you have in mind as future plans?
We’re aiming to have our Branch networks in the whole of India by the year end, for that purpose we’re speeding up all legal processes needed. We are in talks with all kinds of people, who look forward to associate themselves with Quick Forex. We want slow but a constant growth.

Any Marketing Strategies that you want to implement soon?
Quick Forex is a niche online foreign exchange site that was brought to life keeping in mind the growing need for quick currency requirements, high-tech gadgets, and other lifestyle products/ packages that every contemporary traveller/ business professional desires. We are very new in the market as of now, it does take time to build credibility. We want our customers to think of Quick Forex whenever they have any requirements of Forex, Money Transfers, Travel, etc. any domain that we handle.

What kind of Market size and Opportunity at are you looking at now?
It’s just the starting, we’re turning two this year. We’re establishing, getting tie ups and all, so it’s all going great.

What is your existing Monetization model like?
Our Travel segment is more of B2B, whereas the Currency one is majorly B2C.

What are the Traction Details at present?
Our annual turnover for year of 2016 has been approx. INR 100Cr. for serving about 2500 people.
