TUV Rheinland India, a subsidiary of TÜV Rheinland Group, Germany, a worldwide leader in testing, training, inspection, consulting and certification, announced that it has signed an MoU with UK based
Teesside University.
The MoU was signed in Bengaluru by Markus Dohm,executive vice president of TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH (TÜV Rheinland Global Academy); Thomas Fuhrmann, managing director of TUV Rheinland India and Prof. Paul Croney, along with vice chancellor of Teesside University.
The academy and life care division of TUV Rheinland India would initiate a new venture with global scope, to provide executive-level MBA programmes validated by Teesside University, UK.
These executive-level MBA programmes will primarily target the working executives of TUV Rheinland’s client organisations and its own employees who are aspiring for managerial and senior managerial positions.
“This approach will not only help them develop their core competencies but also encourage an achievement of learning outcomes among them,” said Mr Thomas Fuhrmann, managing director of TUV Rheinland India. “We will be developing three MBA Courses: MBA International Business Management; MBA Energy Management; and MBA Sustainable Business Management.
All three programmes will be offered to the participants as international executive programmes, offered under the modular-mode. The face-to-face teaching sessions will be conducted in Cologne (Germany) and Dubai, as these are two of the most strategic locations in Asia and Europe; this allows participants to be drawn from across Europe, Middle East and South Asia”.
The cooperation partner is UK based Teesside University, a leading university with an international reputation for academic excellence that provides an outstanding student and learning experience underpinned by research, enterprise and the professions.
Professor Paul Croney, vice chancellor of Teesside University, UK, said, “Teesside University, after due scrutiny, will endorse the various programmes offered by TUV Rheinland Group as being equivalent to our other programmes leading to an award at the same level and do continuous monitoring to ensure it meets the high standards of our university”.
