Amod Malviya, co-founder of B2B e-commerce platform Udaan, has partnered with Rishi Kedia, Udaan’s Chief Financial Officer, to launch their new startup, Pre6.
The announcement was made via LinkedIn, although specific details about the Bengaluru-based venture remain under wraps. Malviya and Kedia have yet to disclose the startup’s focus or operational roadmap, leaving industry observers curious about their plans.
Their entry into the entrepreneurial landscape adds to a growing trend of established founders and executives venturing into new domains. Earlier this week, upGrad co-founder Mayank Kumar and former OYO Europe President Ayush Mathur announced their startup, BorderPlus, aimed at simplifying global talent mobility.
In recent months, several prominent entrepreneurs have embarked on fresh ventures, including DealShare co-founder Sourjyendu Medda, who entered the sportstech domain with Sports For Life, and Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, who launched OppDoor. Other notable initiatives include Gabit by Zomato co-founder Gaurav Gupta, Callmatic by Mitron TV co-founder Shivank Agarwal, and Nurix AI by Cult.fit co-founder Mukesh Bansal.
The launch of Pre6 by Malviya and Kedia signals another significant addition to this wave of innovation, as industry veterans leverage their experience to explore new horizons.
