Yral (pronounced ‘viral’) was founded in Jan 2016. A brainchild of  Yuvraj Singh, Nishant Singhal and Prashant Puri, Yral is a joint venture between AdLift (Prashant Puri), a leading global digital marketing agency and YouWeCan Ventures, a Yuvraj Singh initiative. The startup seamlessly connects advertisers with celebrities by leveraging their social media network.

Yral’s goal is to deliver the right audience and scalable reach to its advertisers by leveraging modern social media platforms. It provides registered advertisers with the right set of information that enables them to identify and interact with brand advocates, helping advertisers reach customers throughout all stages of the purchase funnel.

The company has recently got funded from YouWeCan Ventures. The startup’s monetization depends on the campaigns and changes based on brand/advertisers. Yral devises an appropriate campaign as per brand’s needs and size of the campaign depends on the Brand’s budget.

Talking about the Yral’s traction details, Puri said, “In under 2 months we’ve signed on brands in the BFSI and consumer goods vertical for whom we launched successful campaigns during the T20 World Cup Cricket where key players endorsed the brand via their social media platform. We are now working on fantastic campaigns tailored towards the IPL 2016 campaign. We’re inviting brands to reach out to us so that we can customize the right social brand endorsement for them.”

Digital marketing spends are estimated to reach $2 billion by 2019, and if only 5% is led by celebrities, we estimate the market size to be $100 million.
