According to a Press Trust of India (PTI) report, quick commerce platform Zepto has secured the top spot in LinkedIn's annual ranking of India's Top Startups for 2024, marking its second consecutive year at number one.
This list highlights emerging companies that professionals aspire to work for and is derived from data reflecting the activities of over 1 billion LinkedIn users worldwide. The evaluation criteria include employment growth, engagement, job interest, and the ability to attract top talent.
Following Zepto in the rankings are compliance firm Sprinto and cloud storage management platform Lucidity. Nirajita Banerjee, a career expert and the Head of Editorial at LinkedIn India, noted that this year's list showcases the dynamic entrepreneurial landscape of India, with Bengaluru being home to half of the featured startups.
The list also reveals that 14 out of the 20 startups are newcomers, highlighting the increasing diversity of career opportunities in sectors like biofuel, compliance, and mental health. Other notable entries include e-commerce platform GoKwik, conversation intelligence platform Convin, biofuel supply chain platform BiofuelCircle, and mental health platform MindPeers.
