Zomato has unveiled a new feature, 'Brand Packs,' aimed at rewarding repeat orders from customers.
Announced by Zomato Founder Deepinder Goyal on Friday via X (formerly Twitter), this initiative seeks to foster customer loyalty for over 4,000 restaurants on the platform.
"I often repeat-order from my favorite restaurants, and so do many of our customers," Goyal stated in his post. "To make this more rewarding, we are introducing Brand Packs – our first step towards building loyalty programs for select restaurants on Zomato."
Brand Packs are designed to incentivise frequent customers with special offers and discounts, enhancing their overall dining experience. This move aligns with Zomato’s ongoing efforts to innovate and meet diverse customer needs. Loyalty programs like these are a common strategy used by retailers to attract and retain customers by offering rewards for repeat business.
According to Goyal, more than one million Brand Packs have already been purchased. Available on the Zomato app, these packs typically offer an additional 10 per cent off the next three orders, without any minimum order value requirement.
This new initiative underscores Zomato's commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting restaurant partners through innovative solutions.
