Major investors include Nvidia and Microsoft, alongside Eclipse Ventures, Jabil, and BlackRock. The company also raised USD 20 million in debt financing from J.P. Morgan

Bright Machines, a San Francisco-based software and robotics startup, announced on Tuesday that it has raised USD 106 million in a Series C funding round, Reuters reported.

Major investors include Nvidia and Microsoft, alongside Eclipse Ventures, Jabil, and BlackRock. The company also raised USD 20 million in debt financing from J.P. Morgan.

Bright Machines develops equipment and software that automate manufacturing tasks through artificial intelligence and machine learning. The new funds will be primarily allocated to advancing the company's engineering efforts in robotics, computer vision, and automation technologies.

The company's goal is to enable engineers to design products within the Bright Machines environment and have them manufactured remotely by robotic systems. This technology aims to make the manufacturing process more efficient, particularly in constructing AI server hardware, potentially reducing build time by replacing manual labor with robots and software.

By accelerating production timelines for companies like Nvidia, Bright Machines' tools could save significant time and costs, providing substantial value in the fast-paced AI industry.
